Organized by the Department of Horticulture, this year's exhibition centers around the theme "Festival of Democracy" (Prajaprabhutvada Habba), highlighting civic awareness, democratic rights, and the Indian Constitution. The event was officially inaugurated by Karnataka Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar. 🌸 Key Attractions & Floral Replicas • Vidhana Soudha Replica: The centerpiece inside the Glass House is a massive floral replica of Bengaluru's Vidhana Soudha. Measuring 57 feet wide and 31 feet high, it is crafted from over 2 lakh red roses and 4,000 kg of chrysanthemums. • Democratic Elements: Beautiful floral representations of the Indian Constitution, the National Emblem, and the Ashoka Chakra. • Heritage & Culture: Exhibits include a floral model of Hampi’s iconic stone chariot, Mysuru’s Chikka Gadiyara (Dufferin Clock Tower), and a tribute depiction of Maharaja Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar seated on his throne. • Exotic Flora & Foliage: The Glass House and surrounding lawns display over 6,000 varieties of ornamental plants—including Anthuriums, Liliums, Carnations, and Mexican grass—sourced from places like Ooty, Pune, and Kolkata. 🗓️ Visitor Information • Dates: 11th October to 21st October 2026. • Timings: 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM daily.
