Episode # 5317 LADY KILLER Original airdate: 1/10/54 After she boards an airliner using another person’s reservation, mystery writer Peggy Lincoln, played by Loretta Young, is forced to play amateur detective in order to catch a killer. When Peggy discovers that two women have already died mysteriously before her, and that she may be the next target, she must call in all her detecting skills to find out who is the "lady killer", and why he did it? Whit Conner (playing Grant Benton) only made one appearance in this series. He was an Irish actor born as Whitfield Connor known for the films The Saracen Blade (1954), Cavalcade of America (1952) and Studio One in Hollywood (1948). He died on July 16, 1988 in Norwalk, Connecticut, Walter Coy (Mr. Longman) was a popular stage, radio, film, and television actor who was best known for narrating the NBC western anthology series, Frontier, which aired early Sunday evenings in the 1955–1956 season Coy's last television role was as Chief Blackfish in the 1970 NBC series Daniel Boone.
