Ocean to Ice Dispatch 23 - The Rare Silver Sasquatch

As Ocean to Ice nears its end, we pay homage to an unsung hero of the expedition: the Airstream Interstate 19X adventure van, otherwise known as "the Silver Sasquatch". For months, this rare creature has carried us across North America, from remote wilderness trailheads to some of the most spectacular landscapes on the continent. It's been our transportation, our mobile office, our shelter from the elements, and our base camp for one extraordinary adventure after another. But what's it really like to travel this way? Come backstage for an entertaining look at life with the Silver Sasquatch. We'll explore the van, its unusual features, the comforts and compromises of life on the road, and what it's like to use a luxury adventure van for actual adventures. Part van tour, part travel documentary, and part tribute to a very unusual traveling companion, this is a behind-the-scenes look at the unsung hero of Ocean to Ice.
