335 Jolly Brings Her Two Surviving Cubs to the Riffles (explore.org RF cam) 8.03.26

You may have already heard that one of 335’s cubs died last night, so she is now down to two. The life of a mama bear is really hard; she has to raise hungry cubs on her own and ensure their safety in an environment with sometimes aggressive boars and few fish to eat, depending on the season. Cubs are safest when they are near mom and away from other bears. This season, there are a record number of cubs (more than 30 coy) and it’s causing confusion and competition.
