Type: Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam Date: June 16, 1972 Location: Los Angeles Speaker: His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda What Happens To Ears That Never Hear About Krishna? | SB 2.3.20 | Srila Prabhupada | Los Angeles In this lecture on Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam 2.3.20, Śrīla Prabhupāda explains why the ears of those who are not receptive to the message of Kṛṣṇa are compared to snake holes. He explains how our senses can be used either for material enjoyment or for spiritual realization, depending on our consciousness. Śrīla Prabhupāda also discusses the limitations of impersonalism, the transcendental activities of Kṛṣṇa, and the different relationships, or rasas, that devotees experience with the Supreme Personality of Godhead. He emphasizes the importance of hearing and chanting about Kṛṣṇa and using our senses in His service. May his words inspire us to hear more deeply and turn our consciousness toward Kṛṣṇa. Hare Kṛṣṇa 🙏 New lectures, kīrtanas and teachings are shared every day at 6 PM IST.
