Try To Be Holy 🎵

Holiness isn't about being perfect. It's about the willingness to keep turning towards God, even when you stumble, even when you struggle, and even when you see parts of yourself that still need to change. Try to Be Holy is a song about the ongoing process of sanctification — the journey of becoming more like Christ, not through our own strength or flawless performance, but through God's grace, mercy, and transforming presence. There are days when the battle feels internal. When pride needs to be surrendered, shame needs to be released, and old patterns threaten to pull us backwards. We may grow weary of our own shortcomings and wonder whether we're making any progress at all. But our failures do not have to define our future, and our struggles do not mean God has abandoned us. God doesn't ask us to manufacture holiness through sheer willpower. He invites us to walk with Him, surrender what keeps us from reflecting His character, and allow Him to refine us from the inside out. Grace doesn't mean we stop growing; it means we don't have to grow alone. This song is a reminder that holiness is not perfectionism — it's a surrendered heart that keeps choosing God. It's getting back up, receiving mercy, learning obedience, and trusting that the One who began a good work in us is still at work. Inspired by 1 Peter 1:15–16, Philippians 1:6, 2 Corinthians 3:18, and Romans 12:1–2, Try to Be Holy reflects the tension between our imperfect humanity and our desire to live a life that honours God. “Be holy, for I am holy.” — 1 Peter 1:16 (NKJV) Not flawless. Not self-made. Still being refined by the One who knows you completely and loves you faithfully. 💜 Signals of Selah (SOS) — Music for faith, awareness, healing, transformation, and the journey towards becoming more authentically yourself. \#TryToBeHoly #SignalsOfSelah #ChristianMusic #Holiness #Sanctification #GodsGrace #FaithJourney #SpiritualGrowth #JesusChrist #ChristianRock #Transformation #Philippians16 #WalkWithGod
