Araku Valley is a hill station in Visakhapatnam district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, lying 111 km west of Visakhapatnam city. This place is often referred to as Ooty of Andhra. The Borra Caves, also called Borra Guhalu, are located on the East Coast of India, in the Ananthagiri hills of the Araku Valley (with hill ranges' elevation varying from 800 to 1,300 m (2,600 to 4,300 ft)) of the Visakhapatnam district in Andhra Pradesh. The caves, one of the largest in the country, at an elevation of about 705 m (2,313 ft), distinctly exhibit a variety of speleothems ranging in size and irregularly shaped stalactites and stalagmites.The caves are basically karstic limestone structures extending to a depth of 80 m (260 ft), and are considered the deepest caves in India. . ABOUT MY ARAKU JOURNEY: I had visited Araku valley in the month of november. I first took Chennai Nizamuddin duronto till VIJAYAWADA. The next morning our plan was to take the vizag araku special , enjoy the scenic rail route, visit BORA caves, visit tribal museum and take the return KIRANDUL VISAKHAPATNAM passenger. Me and my friend thought that departure timing is at 8:20 while the actual departure was at 8:10 All the comedy of errors have been filmed by me and uploaded as a vlog VLOG LINK:    • Vizag Araku APSRTC  bus ride. Scenic road ...   After missing train we went to the APSRTC bus stand in VIZAG and took a bus. Bus ride was a not-so-good experience for us because it was too crowded, too slow and lacked ventilation . We could just spend 10 minutes at ARAKU because, the bus reached araku only at 2:15 and our return special train was scheduled to depart at 2:30 :( :( I have compiled all the small clips i shot during the scenic rail journey and added a relaxing music.
