The Rollright Stones

This is the most easterly of stone circles in England; it sits high and majestic on a ridge in the north Cotswold Hills. Next to an ancient salt way, a road that is the boundary between Oxfordshire and Warwickshire. The site comprises of three ancient stone monuments; the stone circle, known as the kings men, a dolmen the Whispering Knights, and an outlying menhir called the king stone.
