Ikiskawasoot - She Carries Life. A Legacy Project from the DEVOTION Research Network funded by Research Manitoba. A series of videos of Indigenous Mothers, Grandmothers, Elders, and Healthcare Providers sharing experiences of their pregnancy journeys. The videos provide Inininew (Cree) teachings about the sacredness of carrying life and the ceremonies and experiences that accompany bringing life into a community.
