The Bacchanal Buffet is Caesars Palace’s large, upscale all-you-can-eat, built as a fine-dining-style buffet rather than a basic steam-table hall.Bacchanal Buffet is Caesars Palace’s large, upscale all-you-can-eat, opened in 2012 and still the main buffet at the resort. It was built to feel more like a restaurant than a traditional buffet hall, and it remains one of the Strip’s biggest and most popular buffets. The room is about 25,000 square feet and seats roughly 600. Glass partitions, stone and glass textures, open kitchens, and a winding line of stations break the space into smaller areas so it does not feel like one giant hall. It sits deep inside Caesars Palace, past the casino and Forum Shops area, so it is a real walk from the Strip entrance. Food comes from about 10 kitchens and 9 chef-attended action stations, with more than 250 items at a time (it was closer to 500 when it first opened). Stations typically cover seafood, carving, American barbecue, Asian, Latin, Mediterranean, pizza and pasta, salads and charcuterie, and dessert. It is self-service: you walk the line and plate your own food, while chefs cook to order at the action stations and staff circulate with carts. The seafood station is the main draw. Dinner and weekend crab brunch usually include snow crab legs, lobster, shrimp, oysters, mussels, scallops, and a Cajun-style seafood boil. Carving and hot stations feature prime rib, smoked brisket, roasted duck, bone marrow, and wood-fired or Roman-style pizza. Other regulars include poke, dim sum or dumplings, tacos, and made-to-order items. Desserts run to gelato, crepes, cakes, and a large pastry spread. Pricing is premium and changes by meal and day. Recent 2026 reports put adults roughly in the $65–$95 range before tax and tip: weekday or early brunch toward the lower end, weekend crab brunch and dinner toward $80–$95. A bottomless drinks package is sometimes offered as an add-on. Kids are discounted; very young children are often free. Lines can be long on Friday and Saturday evenings and at weekend brunch (sometimes an hour or more), so an advance entry reservation is useful. Some sources note a roughly 90-minute dining window. It is widely treated as one of the better remaining Strip buffets for sheer variety and seafood, though reviews are mixed on whether the quality always matches the price.
