The first filmed tutorial how exciting is this! This is the first in a series of snowflake tutorials which are designed to guide you though the process of crocheting a snowflake. I am collecting crochet snowflakes for an art exhibit for 2025. While these videos are to help you with your creative persuits, they also hope to raise awareness about Myasthenia Gravis (MG) in the process. Please consider donating a snowflake to show your support for those suffering with MG. To find more information or for the written instructions to follow the link here: https://www.chloewigg.com/post/crochet-sno... The instructions will be written in two ways. One is long hand, using plain English describing what to do in each step. The second will be in the more familiar crochet pattern shorthand. I learnt to crochet for this project and I found the hardest part to be learning how to read the patterns. I didn’t want that to be a barrier for anyone wanting to participate in this project. Materials Yarn – in colours of white or teal Crochet hook – size 4.5mm is my preferred size Scissors Please consider donating a crochet snowflake to the Oh MG art exhibition. The Crochet Snowflake Project PO BOX 628 Rochedale South QLD 4123 Current exhibition locations include: Logan Art Gallery - Queensland Australia Warwick Regional Art Gallery - Queensland Australia This project is supported by the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland and the Regional Art Development Fund (RADF). The Regional Arts Development Fund is a partnership between the Queensland Government and Logan City Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland. Thanks also goes to Myasthenia Gravis Association Queensland (MGAQ) for their continued support.
