Maharashtra FDA Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe interacted with students at a seminar at Karnavati University. Regarding compliance with food safety regulations, Mundhe stated that rules other than obtaining permission are not adequately followed. He emphasized the need to seriously consider obesity in children and highlighted that a lack of food safety affects public health. He also expressed the necessity to control the sale of fast food around schools. Furthermore, he advised starting preparations 21 days in advance to prevent adulteration during festivals.
