Sixty five million saal pehle dinosaurs achaanak gayab ho gaye… aur NCERT khud kehta hai "We do not know the true reason." Phir 1938 mein South Africa ke ek machhuare ke jaal mein woh fish aayi jise duniya extinct maan chuki thi: Coelacanth 🐟 Kaun bacha, kaun mita, aur kyun? Jawab hai EVOLUTION!
Is video mein poora chapter "Evolution" (Class 12 Biology, NCERT Chapter 6) ek hi video mein, Netflix-thriller style, bilkul book ki language mein: origin of life (Big Bang, Pasteur, Oparin-Haldane, Miller ka experiment), evidences for evolution (fossils, homologous vs analogous organs, peppered moth), adaptive radiation (Darwin's finches, Australian marsupials), Darwin ka natural selection, Lamarck vs Darwin, de Vries aur saltation, Hardy-Weinberg principle (p² + 2pq + q² = 1) aur uske 5 factors, stabilising/directional/disruptive selection, geological timeline, aur human evolution (Dryopithecus se Homo sapiens tak, brain size ke saath). End mein board exam ke question types, 5 rapid recall questions aur 6 practice questions answers ke saath.

KEY NOTES
• Universe ≈ 13.8 billion years old; Earth formed ≈ 4.5 billion years back; life appeared ≈ 4 billion years back (500 million years after Earth formed)
• Louis Pasteur: life comes only from pre-existing life → spontaneous generation dismissed. Oparin & Haldane: chemical evolution came first
• S.L. Miller (1953): CH₄, H₂, NH₃ + water vapour, electric discharge, 800°C → amino acids
• Homologous organs (same structure, different function) = divergent evolution = common ancestry: forelimbs of whale, bat, cheetah, human; thorn of Bougainvillea & tendril of Cucurbita
• Analogous organs (different structure, same function) = convergent evolution: wings of butterfly & bird; eye of octopus & mammals; flippers of penguin & dolphin; sweet potato & potato
• Industrial melanism (England): 1850s more white-winged moths → 1920 more dark-winged moths. Lichens = pollution indicators
• Adaptive radiation: Darwin's finches (Galapagos), Australian marsupials. Placental wolf vs Tasmanian wolf = convergent evolution
• Darwin: branching descent + natural selection; fitness = reproductive fitness. Lamarck: use & disuse (giraffe neck), rejected today
• Hugo de Vries (evening primrose): mutation, saltation = single step large mutation
• Hardy-Weinberg: p + q = 1; p² + 2pq + q² = 1. Five factors: gene flow, genetic drift, mutation, genetic recombination, natural selection. Founder effect
• Natural selection: stabilising, directional, disruptive
• Human evolution: Dryopithecus & Ramapithecus (15 mya) → Australopithecines (2 mya) → Homo habilis (650-800 cc) → Homo erectus (1.5 mya, 900 cc) → Neanderthal (1400 cc, 1,00,000-40,000 yrs back) → Homo sapiens (75,000-10,000 yrs ago). Cave art at Bhimbetka (Raisen, MP), ~18,000 years ago
