Paralleling Transformers | Unequal Turns Ratios| Straight, Ring, BAAH | Part 5 This video shows three major configurations: straight bus, ring bus, and breaker-and-a-half (BAAH). These arrangements allow for connecting transformers in parallel. It is important to verify the transformer turns ratios are the same. Any mismatch will cause circulating currents flowing between the high sides and low sides. The circulating current flow does not exit the transformer parallel loop. If the circulating current is significant, it will lead to overheating of the transformers.
