Texas Plains

Here's Ken Curtis who played the Festus on tne "Gunsmoke" TV series 11 seasons doing the Gene Autry 1935 hit "Texas Plains". This is from a Norwegian TV show circa ?. Before "Gunsmoke" , Curtis had started out as a big band singer in the 1940s and then a character actor in many movies and TV shows. His band is called the Frontiers Men and seems to be just right. I love bands that look like they know what they're doing.
