DJI Mavic Air 2 Test - Surfing Farnborough Beach, Yeppoon QLD Australia

First of all... How awesome is the Capricorn Coast!? There's one thing I love more than filming... and that's surfing! We don't get great waves here often, but when we do, Farnborough Beach is simply stunning! Early February 2021, we were lucky to get some solid swell rolling in for a couple of weeks. This trip was a dawn patrol to score some great waves before the on-shore winds blew up. Sunrise and weather; the conditions were absolutly perfect. I packed the drone and grabbed some footage of the lads ripping in. I haven't used it outside real estate sitemaps, so it was nice to put it through it's paces on something other than property. It turns out this tiny drone packs some serious punch! I've also used this as an excuse to sink my teeth into learning new editing software, Davinci Resolve, and I must say I'm loving it so far! Not one single crash during the whole project and the colour grading options are incredible! ...you could learn something here Adobe Premiere Pro... Anyway, I hope you enjoy the clip!
