Trying to Disable a 2011 15" Macbook Pro's Dedicated GPU

So if you have had or know someone who has had a 2011 15" Macbook Pro with the dedicated GPU, you already know these start to fail.. and it's not a fun experience. My friend's husband's laptop is exhibiting the issues with the GPU dying and needed data off of it so she asked me to help. I used the tool DosDude1 created and it seemed to help a little bit. I don't know if I did something wrong, so I did it again. But it still seems to glitch out on me. But this might be something to try if you have one of these laptops.
