This Jeep Had TWO Problems… One Was Hidden Above the Fuel Tank

This 2011 Jeep Wrangler came into Harmons Wrench Worx with two completely different problems — the driver’s door wouldn’t open from the inside, and the check engine light was on for an EVAP leak. We started with the door, pulled the panel apart, and found a broken interior door handle cable. Then we moved on to the EVAP system, hooked up the smoke machine, and started chasing down the leak. What looked like a simple EVAP fault ended up leading us all the way back to the fuel tank, where we found the actual problem: a broken fitting at the tank.
