After buying what looked like the better Triumph Thunderbird 900 to take on our epic ride to the north coast of Scotland, it was finally time to get it into the workshop. A chance checking of the carburettor slides lead me to find this mangled return spring. Plus the fork seals fight me all the way! Will this "better" Thunderbird actually make it to Scotland, or did Freddie end up with the better bike after all?
