I just met John Tinney last Sunday, almost a year later beside the old Herdman's flax mill (Sion Mills) and remembered I had this unpublished footage. For you John, enjoy. Camus Old Church & Graveyard Liskey Road Strabane, County Tyrone Northern Ireland BT82 8PE Coordinates: 54.77073, -7.46214 Irish OS grid reference H347915 The old Church & Graveyard are located approximately 6.5km (4.1 miles) on the main Liskey Road from Strabane to Victoria Bridge. There's a narrow lane on the right-hand side of the road (Coordinates:54.773496, -7.459539) leading to the old church which is partially accessible by car, the remainder can be taken on foot. The old discussed GNR railway bridge known locally as Camus or Cams Bridge is close to the Church and is visible from the road so is a good landmark. The graveyard is maintained by the local authority, the Derry & Strabane District Council. The Parish of Strabane (Camus) takes its name from a meander in the River Mourne.
