up next: the Maldives 🇲🇻🌊✨ We stayed on the local island of Dhigurah, and it was honestly one of the most incredible places we’ve ever been! Known as the “long island” in Dhivehi, Dhigurah is a traditional Maldivian fishing community in South Ari Atoll that has grown into one of the best local islands for experiencing the Maldives’ incredible marine life. 🐚 And the underwater world did NOT disappoint! We swam with whale sharks, manta rays, sea turtles, and so much more ~ all while getting to experience the slower pace and local charm of island life. Dhigurah was the perfect mix of adventure, culture, and the most beautiful turquoise water imaginable. Definitely a place we’ll never forget!
