Coma Cinema - Tether (Marigold St. Demo)

This is a demo I recorded on the front porch of my old house in Asheville, NC on Marigold Street. I had some good times there and some bad times. In the end corporate landlords bought the place and evicted me after 7 years of paying my rent on time so they could turn it into an Air BnB. The song, “Tether” would later appear on 2017’s album “Loss Memory”. When I first wrote this song I felt a lot of fear around releasing it in part due to the personal nature of the lyrics, but in the end I released it just in case there’s a “fucked up kid at school” like I was who needed to hear it. This recording and many others will appear on Worldwide Séance/ Unfinished Music 2 & 3. Two large volumes of unreleased demos, outtakes, and other things from my vast collection of recordings over 20 some odd years. It will release soon. Thank you for listening to my music and sharing my music with those you care about. I operate outside the music industry’s boundaries and rules because you allow me to do so. XOXO MLC
