Carroll Gibbons plays Piano in 1938

Carroll Gibbons showcases his elegant playing-style in this little clip which was taken from Pathé’s “Radio Music Hall Reel 1”. He opens with “It’s Only You”, a song he recorded with none other than Noel Coward and then segues seamlessly into “The Way That”. Gibbons closes with a snippet from his theme-tune “On the Air”, written by himself and Reginald Connelly.
