Murdered on the Canal - Slaithwaite - West Yorkshire

A walk around the Pennine village of Slaithwaite in the Colne Valley in West Yorkshire ! known locally as Slawit - a very pleasant little village ! made famous in the long running television series " Where The Heart Is " where the village was known as Skelthwaite starring Pam Ferris, Sarah Lancashire, Tony Haygarth etc etc followed by a walk along the Canal towards Marsden and the site of a 2007 murder which shocked the villagers ! I have not named the people involved out of respect for the families involved - Such a terrible waste of life for Victim, Assailant and their families . - one person took all the blame for this Murder but was he alone ? it has been said that one more person was there at the time ? I dont know that for sure perhaps it is just hearsay ? I know an international psychic medium has visited the place and she stated that there was another person there at the time and that it was a female ?
