WHY Have I Never Played Two Point Museum Before?! 😭🏛️

☕ Welcome back to Becktoriiia! Today we're playing Two Point Museum for the very first time and I have just one question... WHY HAVE I NEVER PLAYED THIS BEFORE?! 😭🏛️😂 I played for around 45 minutes and I already LOVE it. We're starting out with our very own museum, sending people out to discover new exhibits, building up our collection and slowly unlocking more and more things as we go — which is EXACTLY the kind of progression I love in a game. 💚 We started off with some prehistoric artefacts, and obviously I immediately became invested in building our dinosaur skeleton. 🦖 So far we've managed to find TWO pieces of it... We need another. I want my dinosaur. 😂 I absolutely love that you don't just have everything available straight away either. We're slowly unlocking new items, exhibits and ways to improve the museum as we progress, which makes me want to keep playing just to see what we can discover next! We also managed to get quite a bit set up during our first little adventure... 🦖 Two pieces of our dinosaur skeleton 🏺 Prehistoric artefacts and exhibits 🎁 Our very own gift shop ☕ A staff room 📚 A training room 🏛️ And plenty of experimenting with the layout of our museum! The creative side of this is SO much fun. I love being able to decide where everything goes and actually build the museum out ourselves rather than just managing what's already there. I can already tell I'm going to spend a completely unnecessary amount of time making everything look pretty. 😂 And THE VISITORS. I absolutely love watching all their little animations as they wander around the museum and interact with everything. There's so much personality going on in the background and I kept finding myself watching them instead of doing whatever I was actually supposed to be doing. 😭😂 Although... There was one tiny problem. It took me an EMBARRASSINGLY long time to work out how to rotate things. Yes. A building and management game. Where I couldn't work out how to TURN AN OBJECT AROUND. 😭 After my unexpected competence in Dressmaker, normal service has officially resumed here at Becktoriiia. 😂 Once I finally worked that one out though, I had SUCH a good time with this. I love the creativity, I love the progression, I love unlocking new things and I already desperately want to keep building our museum and completing that dinosaur skeleton. 🦖🏛️ 45 minutes disappeared ridiculously quickly and I feel like we've barely scratched the surface. I have a feeling this could become another one of those games where I sit down intending to play for half an hour and suddenly realise I've been rearranging museum exhibits for three hours. 😂 So I definitely don't think we're finished with Two Point Museum yet! 👀💚 Let me know if you'd like to see us continue with our museum — and if you've played before, tell me what I should be looking forward to discovering! But perhaps don't tell me anything about rotating objects.
