Welcome to The Hardest Five Questions series! In this series, we tackle the trickiest, most challenging questions from individual GCSE Maths papers. Whether you're aiming for a Grade 8/9 or just want to test your problem-solving under pressure, these videos will test your understanding of the topics. I thought about missing a week because my cold-affected voice is clearly coming through - however - thought it better to post than not. After some editing and muting, the video still works. All the questions here are very do-able but just that little bit harder than your typical theory question. Topics in this video: 00:00 :: Q18 :: Venn Diagrams 03:23 :: Q19 :: Bounds 05:30 :: Q20 :: Circle Theorems 07:30 :: Q22 :: Equation Circle and Tangents 10:10 :: Q23 :: Vectors #VennDiagrams #Bounds #CircleTheorems #CircleEquations #Vectors What This Series Covers: • Exam Boards: I’ll be looking at papers from Edexcel, AQA, and Edexcel IGCSE. • Unfiltered Thought Process: Although I may have seen some of these questions in the past, I am attempting them here without prior practice. You can see how I analyse complex problems, handle roadblocks, and get to a solution in real time. • Multiple Approaches: Math is flexible! There is often more than one valid way to solve these higher-tier problems – as long as it’s valid maths you will get the marks. A Quick Note Before You Watch: These questions are intentionally selected because they sit at the top end of difficulty. It is strongly recommended that you are comfortable with the underlying core theory before tackling these. How to get the most out of this video: 1. Pause the video at each question and try it yourself first. 2. Compare your method to mine! 3. Got a different solution or feeling stuck? Drop a comment below—I’m always happy to answer questions or discuss alternative methods. 🔔 Subscribe for More Maths Content: If you find this walkthrough helpful, make sure to Like and Subscribe to NG_MATHS for full paper walk-throughs, revision strategy, and problem solving! #GCSEMaths #Edexcel #AQAMaths #IGCSE #GCSEProblems #GCSEHardProblems #IGCSEProblems #IGCSEHardProblems #MathsRevision #NGMaths
