RAIN TURNED EKPOMA TO BENIN ROAD INTO A NIGHTMARE What should have been a normal journey turned into an exhausting, all-day experience because of the terrible road conditions and rainfall. Along the road between Iruekpen and Ekpoma, we encountered a blockage that forced our driver to turn back and find another route through Iruekpen town. We also saw fallen trailers and stranded vehicles, with some motorists unable to move forward or turn back. Thankfully, our driver was smart and calculative, making careful decisions that helped us navigate the difficult situation. By the time I finally arrived at my destination, I was completely exhausted and weak. A journey that should not have been so stressful had turned into an experience I would not forget in a hurry.
