The Way We Were (1973) ~ ep. 057

What do we remember, and who do we remember from the days when we were young and so powerfully in love. Let’s watch an example of that kind of love in The Way We Were (1973). Join host Michael Kaiser as he sets the scene of this period periods piece from the middle of the 20th century, and follows the path of two potentially star crossed lovers Katie and Hubble. With unforgettable performances from the two biggest stars of the era: Barbra Streisand and Robert Redford, and a song for the ages sung by Streisand. The Way We Were shows how hard relationships can be, and how passionate they can be and we can see their journey through joy and sadness, from the 22nd row. ✨ #cinema #film #history #literature #podcast Follow on Instagram @fromthe22ndrow
