Theory as Organon - Multiplicity of Theory - Talks and Panel Discussion (14 October 2026)

The second day of Theory as Organon - Symposium on Theory in Human-Computer Interaction, at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou), organised by Qiushi Zhou (HKUST(GZ)). Titled "Multiplicity of Theory", this event features four short talks that discuss the import of theories from different fields of study into, and their development for HCI. Four talks were delivered by Difeng Yu (Nanjing University), Joanna Bergstrom (University of Copenhagen), Can Liu (City University of Hong Kong), and Tao Luo (Southern University of Science and Technology). The panel was joined by Kasper Hornbæk (University of Copenhagen), and moderated by Qiushi Zhou.
