Searching for Food and Forgiveness | Exploring The Saga | Part 5 (Finale)

What would the WolfQuest Saga look like from a Dispersal's perspective? What sorts of new game features will we be able to explore from a place of unbelonging? Now only one wolf strong, Viper sets out on his own without the help of his family to forge his own path. Will he remember the lessons Scarlet taught him, or stray from her teachings to live his own life, one where taking care of his mate and family matter more than vengeful battles and hunting for sport? Will his loyalty to his family remain, even when he is forced to test the boundaries of their territory for his own gain? In this short series, we will see Viper explore new possibilities, and create a future of his own in Yellowstone National Park. In this episode, Viper begins to worry for the future of his pack as food becomes more difficult to find. His pups are growing rapidly and his pack is almost always hungry, but where are the elk? Just as soon as he brings down a carcass, scavengers are ready to finish it off. Viper desperately travels across his new unfamiliar territory on tired paws in search of the elk herds that have migrated. Though he is fortunate enough to feast on ungulates for now, he knows that he must prepare for starvation season, and keep his pack moving as his pups rapidly grow out of their current den. Aside from the constant threat of hunger, several other dangers threaten his growing pack. Eagles, coyotes, and rival wolves can't wait to sink their teeth into one of his pups. Though Viper does his best to protect them, he can only be so many places at once- and soon the only packmate near enough to save his terrified pup is Scar. Will the jealous she-wolf help him to fend off the danger, or will he have to brace himself for the worst possible outcome?
