The American farmer, poet, and cultural critic, Wendell Berry, speaks here on the industrialization of agriculture, decline of the family farm, and importance of an ensouled relationship to the land. His remarks are as impactful today as in 1974 when this recording was made, with relevance both in U.S. contexts and beyond.
