AEW Grand Slam France

AEW Grand Slam Paris gave us TWO matches worthy of Match of the Night. Tim and Dug break down a loaded episode of Dynamite featuring Kazuchika Okada vs. Will Ospreay for the AEW World Championship and Kyle Fletcher vs. Darby Allin for the TNT Championship, and for the first time in Elite Heat history, they can’t pick just one Match of the Night. They also try to make sense of AEW’s new Clockwork Carnage match. Is it a creative new signature match for the company, or has AEW officially crossed the line into overbooking when the rules require multiple phases and explanatory graphics? Also on the show: Samoa Joe vs. Jack Perry and the mystery of Perry’s losing streak, Jon Moxley and Gabe Kidd showing surprising chemistry, Davis and Doyle scoring a major win, Queen Aminata impressing against Mercedes Moné, Thekla looking more and more like a future champion, Nick Wayne giving his Chris Jericho feud some substance, and Swerve Strickland and Hangman Page potentially overshadowing Bandido vs. Kofi Kingston. With WrestleDream approaching fast, Tim and Dug also look at the future of the trios division, and whether AEW can turn Clockwork Carnage into something worth bringing back. 👍 Like the video 💬 Tell us YOUR Match of the Night 🔔 Subscribe for weekly AEW discussion and analysis Support Elite Heat at DoichFoods.com with promo code ELITE HEAT for 20% off your order.
