According to the report, 649 electors responded after being given an opportunity to submit documents or objections following Supreme Court directions. Local Electoral Registration Officers subsequently found 97 of them eligible for inclusion, but their names could not be restored because ECINet lacked a rollback facility. Goa election officials reportedly sent eight requests in seven days seeking the required facility before publication of the final roll, but the 97 names remained excluded. The Election Commission has said that once deletion through Form 7 is processed, the system does not provide a rollback option.
