5.0 new edge mustang crossmember help

There is a surprising amount of people who claim a 94-04 v6 k member are the same, and that they will hold a 302. While both can indeed support a 302, the 96-04 (modular Era) cross members don't fit that well without custom mounts. After doing some research and talking to people who have been there and done that, I was told that the late modle fox bodies and 94/95 k member are the same, weather it's a v8 or v6. Measurenents in junkyards confimed this. In this video I show some of the differences from my stock 99 crossmember thst I removed and a 94 v6 crossmember from a junkyard. I hope this helps someone out, had I know this I would have modular swaped. But the job isn't too bad, I would recommend a tubular replacement however, but I didn't want to spends the extra $300 on a theory.
