Vdo50 Impulse Momentum Equations for 2D Rigid Body - Part 1

In this video, we show the application of linear and angular impulse momentum equations on a rigid body in 2D. We consider the motion generated by an impulse acting on a vertical stick. We explore the difference in the motion when the stick has a distributed mass versus when it consists of lumped masses at the end on a massless rod. We note how the difference in motion of the two scenarios is attributed to how the impulse gets transmitted.
