Steffen Kroner is a Managing Director at Alvarez & Marsal and co-leads the private equity performance improvement practice in Germany. With over 13 years of cross border performance improvement/restructuring, interim management and transaction advisory experience he has worked with multinational corporations, private equity sponsored companies and mid-sized businesses across Europe/US/Latin America spanning a range of industries, including telecoms, packaging, chemicals, steel, stationary, photo, retail, automotive, renewables and rail infrastructure. He has served as VP Finance Europe for a US/Europe label manufacturer and Chief Restructuring Advisor for Balfour Beatty Rail. Most recently, Mr. Kroner advised a global valve manufacturer and was responsible for driving an operational improvement program across 7 production sites covering new investments, plant and footprint optimization, productivity improvements and supply chain initiatives to significantly improve EBITDA across Europe, the Americas and Asia Pacific.
