What if parenting is not about sacrifice, but about choice? As parents, we make countless decisions for our children. But somewhere along the way, we also need to teach them how to make their own choices, build their own opinions, and create a life of their own. A mother can be a homemaker or a working professional. A father can have his own career and dreams. None of these choices automatically make someone a better or worse parent. What matters is how we support each other, understand our responsibilities, and remain emotionally present. This video is also about something I deeply believe in: children should not grow up carrying the emotional weight of their parents' sacrifices. If we choose something for our children, let it be our choice—not a debt they have to repay. Because our children are not our property, our extensions, or unfinished versions of ourselves.
