Just Pew-Pew #6 - Rage Juggernaut | Focus Guardian - PvP SWTOR

I really enjoyed the fight against the Sniper. Even though I feel Juggernaut’s defensive toolkit is pretty limited and way too straightforward(boring), that’s actually what forced me to rely heavily on positioning, movement, LoS, kiting, escaping and situational awareness, and I love that kind of gameplay.(Even tho, my playtime is very limited, on juggernaut\guardian one of my least played class in 7.x era, and i need a lot more practice to perform on the level i used to play this class back in 6.x era, when it was actually my second favorite class after sniper, too bad they dumbed down the game so much with 7.0) I even had a nice chat with the Sniper after the match, which is always cool to see. KUDOS for him as he was locked me down almost all game and generally he was playing very well. A textbook example of how to force a jugger out of play. I know that in this no-brainer DPS-farming era of SWTOR, some players dont appreciate this playstyle. But if you put your hand on your heart, you know that constantly making decisions about positioning, kiting, LoS, movement, target awareness, and when to engage or disengage requires a lot more CPU usage in your head, than simply charging straight in, burning every cooldown, dealing a ton of damage, dying, and repeating. And there’s nothing wrong with that either. Sometimes it’s fun to switch your brain off, jump into the fight, and just enjoy doing damage. But this more tactical, decision-driven style of PvP is also built around exactly the kind of skills you need to perform well in Arenas: positioning, LoS, kiting, awareness, knowing when to commit, and knowing when to get out. Actually i just kinda play Warzones like they re Arenas :D As most of You know, for me, that decision-making is one of the most enjoyable parts of PvP, and the only reason i still playing this otherwise dumbed down demo version of the game. #swtor #pvp #warzone #arena #juggernaut #guardian #rage #focus #4k #starwars
