Tian Xiwei's Best Roles, Ranked: Up to Where the Mask Ends

Tian Xiwei's three best roles, ranked from number three to number one: Fan Changyu in Pursuit of Jade, Li Wei in New Life Begins, and the double part of A-Chou and Wei Rao in Where the Mask Ends. Each part asked more of the same actor. Number three is the butcher's daughter of Pursuit of Jade, whose marriage of convenience with Zhang Linghe's Xie Zheng turns into real love before war sends her to the battlefield. Number two is New Life Begins, the 2022 iQIYI drama opposite Bai Jingting where her career as a lead really took off, with a look at Be My Cat, Romance on the Farm, Wrong Carriage, Right Groom and Moonlit Reunion along the way. Number one is Where the Mask Ends, where she plays both a humble survivor and the cruel noblewoman who sends her into Lu Zhuo's household in her place. It placed seventh on Netflix's global Top 10 for non-English TV in the week of October 12 to 18. Our ranking is an opinion based on how much each role asked of her, not a score.
