The new model is available in three variants: the Four-Motor ‘Tuojing’ Edition, the Four-Motor ‘Yujing’ Edition and a Limited Edition, with pre-sale prices ranging from 359,800 to 439,800 yuan. The manufacturer summarises its core features as the segment’s only million-class vector four-motor system, end-to-end advanced autonomous driving assistance, the Honghu off-road platform and military-grade quality. Drawing inspiration from traditional Chinese architectural aesthetics, the G919 features a front fascia with a 1:1.414 harmonious proportion. The vehicle measures 5,135 mm in length, 2,050 mm in width and 1,950 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,900 mm. The G919 adheres to the essential specifications of a rugged off-roader, including a non-load-bearing ladder-frame chassis, a round steering wheel, mechanical door handles and physical buttons, to ensure the vehicle remains operable in the event of in-car system or electrical faults. The G919 comes as standard with a vector-controlled four-motor system, allowing independent control of torque and rotational speed at each wheel. It delivers a combined power output of 620 kilowatts and a combined torque of 1,320 Newton-metres, with wheel-end torque reaching 18,500 Newton-metres. It accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in 4.5 seconds and can climb gradients of 100 per cent in both forward and reverse directions. Its proprietary vector control algorithm limits torque error to ±2.5 N·m. This is paired with a 2.0T super-hybrid engine boasting a thermal efficiency of 48.83 per cent and a 62.9 kWh ternary lithium-ion battery pack, delivering a CLTC pure-electric range of 280 kilometres and a combined range of 1,350 kilometres. The G919 employs a perception architecture integrating visible light, laser and night vision, and is equipped with an active all-terrain system.
