RRR Post: http://ridersrangersandrambles.com/?p... Blog Post: http://wp.me/pJgaa-O7 --- The new Samuraizer Morpher shipped along with a brand new weapon, Antonio's Barracuda Blade. The toy itself clocks in at a hair over a 12 inches long, with about an eight inch bladed area. The toy is available in the basic battle gear assortment, retailing for $14.99 at most major retailers. Included with the blade is the "Sushi Disk," which otherwise functions as Antonio's attack disk for the Barracuda Blade. The disk can spin, despite this functionality not being in the show. A clip is molded into the fish like Barracuda Blade sheath that can attach to your belt. Press down on the Shiba Logo on the sheath to pop out the blade. The logo acts as a lock to prevent the blade from falling out of the sheath. The blade is made of a yellow transparent rubber so no one gets hurt. If you press the Shiba Logo on the grip of the blade, a yellow LED will light, and make the rubber blade glow. This is actually a really cool gimmick to emulate Antonio's attacks. There are no sounds in the toy, which is a bit of a disappointment. The Sakanamaru (the Japanese version) has a longer grip, but a shorter overall blade. The Japanese toy also has a feature where you unsheathe the blade, swing it around, and sheath it again. This will then sound off a final attack noise depending on how many slashes you did. Overall, the Barracuda Blade is a toy the kids will get a huge kick out of. It's a reasonable size for them, the light up feature is great, and they can pretend they have Gold Power! Adult collectors might rather have a Sakanamaru, given the sounds and gimmicks included in that one. Regardless, the price is right on this one, and it is overall a pretty nice toy, especially for the kids. Recommended, especially if you can't get a Sakanamaru. --- Awesome Intro thanks to Ryokuya!
