Made On Purpose

I didn't write these words because I have it all together, and I certainly didn't come to this realization by accident. For a long time, I found myself staring at the mess of my own life—feeling a lot like Simon on that boat, looking at empty nets, wondering if my failures disqualified me, and feeling the constant, heavy weight of a world that just feels like it's falling apart at the seams. I was exhausted from trying to earn my worth in a system built on decay. So, I had to go back to the source. I sat with the apostle Paul's words in Ephesians 2, stripping away all the noise, and looking closely at how the Creator actually views us. I realized I had been treating myself like a random draft instead of a deliberate masterpiece. I want to pay tribute to Pastor Doug Brushell, whose message on Peter revealed a passion in Peter that can be found in us. I looked at how Jesus didn't wait for Peter to become a rock before He called him; He looked straight through the mess and saw the purpose. And that’s why I needed to share this song with you. Because if you’ve been walking around feeling like a mistake, feeling unqualified, or just letting the exhaustion of this broken world wear you down, I want you to hear this: You are not a byproduct of random chance. Before time even began, God wrote you into His story. He didn't just make you; He crafted you with intention, wired your unique personality, and prepared good works specifically for your hands to do. So wherever you are today—whether your faith feels shaky or your environment feels heavy—I want you to stop living like a rough draft. Take a breath, lean into His grace, and remember the truth we all need to hear: You were made on purpose. Let's live like it.
