Why Are These Lakes So Empty? | Dharamsar & Sambaksar Lakes

Why were there so few tourists at Dharamsar and Sambaksar Lakes during our visit? 🤔 Near the famous Babusar Top in northern Pakistan, we explored two beautiful alpine lakes to investigate a simple but interesting question: Why don't more tourists seem to visit these places? Our journey started from Naran, followed an off-road track near Babusar Top, and took us to Dharamsar Lake and Sambaksar Lake. Along the way, we explored the landscape, spoke with a local person, and tried to understand what might explain the lack of tourists we observed. Is it a lack of awareness? Is reaching these lakes difficult? Or is there another reason? In this investigation, I'll share what I saw, what a local told us, and what we still don't know.
