He plays it and to his astonishment he finds the people who listen to its tunes start dancing spontaneously. He purchases the flute and bring it to his house. Balu's neighbour notices its magical qualities and wants to have it for his own. He tricks Balu and gets hold of the flute. He plays the flute and troubles Balu's family as they all start dancing to its tunes. With a clever plan, Balu and Pappu get the flute back. Balu lives with his family, which includes his wife Smita, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kumar. He is supported by his friend Pappu Maharaj, who is also the family’s cook.
