Are we producing the good fruit that God expects from us, or are we offering Him "sour grapes"? In this homily for the 27th Sunday in Ordinary Time (Year A), we look deeply at the powerful imagery of the vineyard found in Isaiah 5, Psalm 79, and the Gospel of Matthew (21:33-43). God has cleared the stones, planted choice vines, and given us everything we need to thrive. Yet, all too often, the world responds with fruitlessness, anxiety, and rejection of His messengers. Thankfully, St. Paul gives us the ultimate antidote to a fruitless, anxious life in the second reading (Philippians 4:6-9): "There is no need to worry; but if there is anything you need, pray for it." Join us as we reflect on how to guard our hearts, root out anxiety, and become the faithful tenants who deliver a rich harvest to the Lord. 🙏 If this homily touched your heart, please LIKE, SHARE, and SUBSCRIBE to support our ministry! 📖 Readings for Today: • First Reading: Isaiah 5:1-7 (The Song of the Vineyard) • Responsorial Psalm: Psalm 79 (The vineyard of the Lord is the house of Israel) • Second Reading: Philippians 4:6-9 (The Peace of God) • Gospel: Matthew 21:33-43 (The Parable of the Wicked Tenants) #catholicmass #christianyouth #catholicyouth #faith #listentogod #gospelreflection #godsmercy #loveyourneighbour #psalm102
