[4K] NATS OUTAGE DIVERSION | British Airways Boeing 777-200ER QUICK Takeoff at Glasgow Airport 2026

September 8th, 2026, saw a significant outage of NATS ATC systems across all six of London's airports, as well as some other airports in the UK, with like Bristol affected. This has led to at least 800 flight cancellations, 1000s of flight delays, and many people getting stranded. Estimates say around 250,000 people have so far been affected by the system failures. Aircraft that were already airborne had to divert across Europe. Glasgow Airport got one divert, a British Airways 777 which landed from Boston as BA238, bound for London Heathrow. Here it is the following day, September 9th, 2026, departing down to London Heathrow, with a loud and fast takeoff, as the plane was very light.
