Found in Western North Carolina

These are all items I have found myself in Macon County, NC. We have examples of quartz, amethyst, moonstone, garnet, and corundum. I have examples of the UV reaction of rubies, and the color transparency of some of my stones, as well as some cut stones and at least one example of asterism(the star inside the stone).
