Banana trees were planted across the school grounds. On Sunday, the institution—named 'Bhalukgachi Muktijoddha School'—was reopened following the intervention of the local administration. A former donor member of the school alleged that these actions were taken because a general school was established on land originally intended for a technical educational institution. The headmaster, however, claimed that the donor member orchestrated the incident to press for the employment of his son's second wife. Jamuna Television, also known as Jamuna TV, is a 24-hour news and current affairs television channel in Bangladesh.
