I Just Started Walking in Tours,France--&This Is What Happened

I arrived in Tours, France with no itinerary, no reservations, and absolutely no plan for the day. So I decided to do something that felt a little crazy: I just started walking. A woman I met on the flight to France introduced me to the idea of kismet—letting life unfold and seeing where it takes you. So that became my plan. Along the way, I found beautiful gardens, wandered through the streets of Tours, visited the incredible Cathédrale Saint-Gatien and Hôtel Goüin, stopped for coffee, did a little shopping—and had a shoe emergency that changed the course of the afternoon. 😂 Sometimes the best days aren’t the ones we carefully plan.
