Scientists Drilled Into Noah’s Ark Site in Turkey — What They Found Underground Changes Everything

For nearly 70 years, a mysterious ship-shaped formation in eastern Turkey has divided scientists, geologists, archaeologists, and biblical researchers. Known as the Durupınar formation, the site sits near Mount Ararat and has long been connected to one of history’s greatest mysteries: Noah’s Ark. But in 2026, researchers finally drilled deep beneath the surface—and what they encountered raised new questions about what may actually be buried inside this strange hillside. From underground cavities and unusual radar patterns to organic soil, a shattered drill bit, and controversial claims of corridors and chambers, the latest investigation has reignited the Noah’s Ark debate. But has anything truly been proven? This documentary examines the evidence, the scientific objections, the history of the Durupınar site, and the laboratory tests that could finally determine whether this formation is geological—or something far more extraordinary.
